Ring Insurance
When you buy a ring at Spence we provide you with an appraisal certificate that can be used for insurance purposes. We encourage you to talk to your insurance company about your options, as oftentimes rings up to a certain amount are covered under home insurance policies. Any reputable insurance provider will accept our appraisal certificate as an official verification of value.
No Payment, No Interest
Qualified buyers can take advantage of a 6-month “minimum payment no interest” plan through Wells Fargo. These terms require a 20% down payment and $40 processing fee.
What if you don’t like the ring?
Basically, you have 3 options at this point:
- You can trade-up for a bigger center diamond (forever)
- You can get a full refund (30 days)
- You can exchange the setting of the solitaire ring

Relive the magic of the day you two became one by trading in her original engagement diamond for the one you wished you could have given her the first time. Spence will give you full credit towards any new stone valued at 50% greater than your original purchase price.
Of course, diamond earrings, pendants and bracelets also make touching anniversary gifts. Between our full-credit upgrade, return and solitaire setting exchange, you really can’t go wrong if you need to come back in and make it right.

Lifetime Protection Against Loss
If your original diamond (up to 2.10 carat) chips, cracks or separates from its original Spence mounting and your ring is in good conditon, we will replace the diamond free of charge on any one occasion.Simply bring your ring to any Spence location for inspection by an authorized representative every year to qualify.All repairs recommended as a result of these inspections must be completed by our represenatatives to maintain this warranty.
Our mens bands are guaranteed as well.
- Lifetime Trade-up Allowance
At any time, your original Spence center diamond can be fully credited towards a new item, provided the new item has a value at least fifty percent greater than the original purchase price. Trade-ins cannot be accepted on a used setting or mounting. Simply return your diamond in its original condition to Spence, with the original sales receipt and guarantee certificate.

- Change Your Style of Mounting
You may change the style of your original solitaire diamond ring for another style of equal value, free of charge, within one full year of the date of purchase.

- Ring Size Adjustment
We will gladly adjust the size of your original Spence diamond ring , free of charge,on any one occasion, within one year from the date of purchase.
- Workmanship Guarantee
Spence Rings are hand crafted by our master jewellers. We will guarantee your ring mount against any defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.If any defects are found during this period, we will be glad to provide all neccesary repairs free of charge.
Our diamonds are cut,polished and set by our master craftsmen whose skill makes your diamond jewlery exceptional.We guarantee the accurate carat weight of your diamond and the karat gold of your mounting for lifetime, as long as you allow only Spence jewelers to work on it.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from Spence, simply bring it back in its unaltered, original condition with the original receipt within 30 days of the order date, and we will gladly refund your money. Returns on Made to Order rings are subject to a one hundred dollar design cancellation fee.Sorry, special orders are exempt from returns.
